Wiz Khalifa's Growing Buzz

Wiz Khalifa speaks on his increasing fan base. He talks about his shows, his grind in the studio and clothing line. Can't knock the hustle. Of course there is some weed references. It wouldn't be Wiz if it wasn't.

Justin Bieber: Singer Turned Rapper?

Justin Bieber "freestyles" over Cam'ron and Vado's Speaking In Tongues beat. As much as I want to believe he freestyled this, which I don't, Im only half convinced that he wrote the lyrics by himself. Or most of them. Pretty good for young Justin either way.

No Need To Fear T.I. Is Here

So T.I. is headed back to prison for violating his parole. Only God and T.I. know why he would allow himself to willingly get into trouble again. Before his day in court the rapper just so happens to hear about a man on a building in Atlanta, who was threatening to jump. T.I. made his way to the scene and talked the guy down. It may look like a publicity stunt to try to get his sentenced lessened, or just maybe T.I. is just a good man who finds himself in bad situations. I'm thinking its a little bit of both. Check below for what T.I. had to say about people questioning his sincerity.

BET Top 10 Rapper's of the 21st Century

BET held its first show with Hip-Hop DJ's and producers voting on who are the best in the game.
First and foremost, I feel like this list was rigged from the beginning with the rules. The rules were that the only people allowed to be on this list had to have released their solo album no earlier than 1999. I personally believe this was a vendetta to keep Jay-Z off the list. But it goes without saying that he tops all of these rappers, who in some way, shape or form, have been influenced by him.
The voting criteria that each mc was judged on, which I believe was not abided by, was, flow, lyricism, subject matter, digital swagger, cultural impact, and cream(cash flow).
The bottom half of the list doesn't matter, to me, so much, but the top three is what I feel was greatly misguided. Kanye should have been number one, Em at two, and Wayne at three. But hey what do I know, it wasn't my list nor was I invited to vote.

The list is as follows:
10. Rick Ross
9. Jadakiss
8. Young Jeezy
7. Drake
6. Ludacris
5. T.I.
4. 50 Cent
3. Kanye West
2. Lil Wayne
1. Eminem

'Nuff Respect 2 Rapper Game From N*E*R*D

Pharrell, Chad, and Shay consider Game underrated and the quintessential mc. WOW. That is a heavy proclamation to make. But the Neptunes have only associated themselves with some of the best in the business so maybe whatever Game plans to put out in the near future will excite the rest of us. God knows Game could use a hit album right now.

Lil Wayne Letter #9 From Riker's: "I'm Back"

Below Wayne lets his fans know how he's dealing with the recent move to solitary confinement due to an infraction he had earlier this year. If there is one thing he said that everyone needs to be mindful of its the latter half of the letter: Talent is best nurtured in solitude. Fans can keep that as inspiration in their own lives. But all other rappers should be aware. The self-proclaimed "Best Rapper Alive" will be out soon, and he is still aiming for that spot. A setback is only a setup for a comeback.

What’s poppin?!
By now I’m guessing that you all have heard about my recent relocation to the bing, which is punitive segregation. Basically, no T.V., no radio, no snacks/junkfood, and one phone call a week. This punishment has been handed to me for my earlier MP3 incident. I admit, I fu#ked up and now I must deal with the consequences. As I write this, I only have 25 days left, and it’ll be even less than that when you read this. So honestly, I’m fine. Obviously, this gives me a lot of time to myself and a lot of alone time with my thoughts, which can be creatively dangerous. I do miss being able to hear from my family everyday but once a week will have to suffice. To them, I apologize. I’m still able to receive mail so reading and responding is still a huge part of my day. I’d like to thank everyone that sent me B-Day cards and wishes… that was terrific. You all are wonderful, simply wonderful.
Well anyways, I just wanted you all to know that I’m good and I’ll be good! But at the end of the day, I did it all for music!!! By the way, thanx for downloading the I Am Not A Human Beingalbum. And if you haven’t done so already, please do! And if you have, do so again! When I get out I’m going to put the album in stores and shoot more videos for it. Which songs should I shoot videos to? Also, we will be adding bonus songs and packaging the new Nino Brown DVD with the in store album! You’re welcome.
Talent is best nurtured in solitude… Be home soon!
